Cocoonic 來自香港，在廣州長大，高中又去了倫敦讀書。豐富的生活經歷為她的 SP404 live set 注滿新鮮的原材料。各地文化的傳統元素，是她認為最能鑽進你耳朵的那條蛇——點綴些東方韻味，與非洲鼓攪拌奉均勻，可能偶爾還會聽到詭異卻新奇的電影台詞。
你可能是第一次聽到它們，但你的身體，早已不由自主地跟著律動。
還在香港大學讀新聞系的她，已被邀請參加今年香港的 Sonár 電音音樂節，還有過在上海、廣州、杭州演出的經驗，先前在香港 HKCR 網絡電台的 SP404 live set 直播也為她積攢了不少人氣。
加入了 Eating Music 廠牌的她同時也是音樂製作人，有時也可見到她現場玩轉自己的作品。
她期待與大家分享與眾不同的好音樂，滿腔熱情必是對她最好的形容詞。這份對音樂不斷的渴求與熱愛，被她同等地用在做beat和收集黑膠上。

Cocoonics is a Hong Kong DJ/beatmaker from Eating Music label. Her passion are collecting records and making beats. More than just honing on her musical prowess, she spends much of her time with a fresh collection of underground music ready for sharing.
Youth and bright personality fuel her passion. Still a Journalism student at the University of Hong Kong, she has already made her presence across towns—performed at Sonar Hong Kong, streamed live at the Hong Kong Community Radio and was invited to multiple performances in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hangzhou.
Cocoonics cocoons herself with a wide selection of the nostalgic and the hip. Spinning the knobs and thumping the pads of SP404, the sampling machine juices up her unique collection of African drums, 80’s funk and disco to 90’s jazzhiphop, boombap.
She is keen on discovering the idiosyncratic niches of these genres, but it is not limited to such. Adding just the right amount of oriental pentatonic notes with the bedazzling sound of the east, her music hits the groove in just the right spot. Be sure to catch the beat, refresh your mind, and dance along.
